Forget passive reflective Safety Vests; you do not have to rely on oncoming light to generate short distance reflection any longer. The RLVA3-Ex is Intrinsically Safe for use in Petrochemical Environments and Underground Hardrock Mines and complies to AS/NZS 4602.1:2011 Class D/N Day or Night Use. It comes in orange or yellow with silver reflectors, has a covered zip closing and is powered by 2 x AA batteries. It has a visibility range of more than 300 metres in clear atmospheric conditions. The LED lights have three modes, Fast Flashing, Slow Flashing and Steady. Change modes by toggling the pushbutton on the battery box. Batteries typically last for 40 hours in flashing mode.
